Meet Our Team!
Rebecca Hare
Clinic Founder, Registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor
Signature Strength: Professional Deep Diver
You might be here because you have a sense that there is more to life than just pushing through or holding it all together. It’s exhausting! Many of the people I work with feel this way. They are thoughtful, self-aware, and often successful in many areas of life, yet feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to make sense of what they are feeling inside.
Many people have found me after hitting a plateau in their work with more traditional psychotherapies. In our work together, we slow things down and get curious. Instead of trying to “fix” symptoms, we look at where they come from—past experiences, nervous system patterns, and the ways you have learned to cope and protect yourself. Your nervous system is brilliant, it has done it’s job to protect you, and it knows what it needs to heal, sometimes we just get in the way of allowing that to unfold. That’s where I come in — to hold that space for your nervous system to move from dysregulation to regulation.
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or overly clinical. It can be a grounded, honest space where you get to peel back the layers, understand yourself more deeply, and reconnect with what matters to you now. This work is for people who are ready to explore, reflect, and create meaningful change—not just for today, but for the future they want to live into.

Signature strength: Befriending & Rewiring Your Anxious Brain
My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, playfulness, connectedness, and a deep respect for how early life experiences shape the brain and understanding of who we are. I have a strong interest in neurobiology, attachment theory, and working through an Internal Family Systems model to help clients better understand their inner world. I believe that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours all make sense when viewed in the context of our brain and bodies survival instincts and the relationships that have influenced us. I specialize in supporting individuals who experience OCD, intrusive or anxious thoughts, and patterns that feel difficult to interrupt. Together, we will explore these cycles with gentleness, building awareness around why they exist, how they got stuck, and how we can unburden them. We will also explore various exposure methods to teach the brain on how to shift from the anxious brain into a more healthy and adaptable function. I also focus strongly on complex childhood traumas and its connection to our attachment. I believe that by understanding attachment patterns and the roles different parts of ourselves play, we can create space for new responses that feel more flexible, grounded, and aligned with your values. Above all, my goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, collaborative, and genuinely comfortable. I show up authentically in sessions and place a strong value on building trusting relationships with my clients. I want this journey to feel safe and thoughtful, with plenty of room for humour along the way, as we explore your experiences and work toward greater clarity, connection, and self-understanding together.

Signature strength: Nervous system nerd
Therapy, for me, is about slowing things down enough to really listen—to your experiences, your nervous system, and the patterns that have shaped how you move through the world. At the heart of our work together is a belief that growth happens through understanding, safety, and curiosity—and that change doesn’t have to feel forceful to be meaningful.
Many reactions begin in the nervous system, not in something being “wrong” with you. Approaches informed by neurobiology, Polyvagal Theory, and the body help make room for understanding these responses, within a space that values safety, steadiness, and meeting you exactly where you are.
Therapy offers space to gently explore the roots of what you’re struggling with, noticing patterns and behaviours with compassion rather than criticism. Together, we make room for insight, choice, and new ways of responding—guided by your pace and what feels supportive for you.
Therapy isn’t about feeling good all the time—it’s about learning to be with what you feel and discovering your own strength in the process.
Areas of Focus: Complex Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, OCD, Grief
Treatment Modalities: Brainspotting, Parts Work, Somatic based psychotherapy, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

If I’m not in the office, you’ll catch me on a campsite with my husband and dog, listening to acoustic music around the campfire with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other, while the loons call in the background.

Signature Strength: Helping You Connect the Dots
Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down and begin making sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. My work focuses on creating a sense of safety and support as we explore your inner experience and reconnect with yourself in gentle, meaningful ways.
At the heart of our work is building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we approach and explore your patterns, behaviours, and internal responses with curiosity and care, moving at a pace that feels right for you. Change is viewed not as something to force, but as something that unfolds when curiosity, compassion, and understanding come together.
Drawing from a neurobiological-informed, somatic approach, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system responses influence thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, we look more deeply at the roots of current challenges and the coping strategies that once supported you. Through this process, clients often develop greater self-awareness, flexibility, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
You are welcome here exactly as you are—confused, uncertain, or unsure of what you’re seeking. You don’t need answers before you begin. This space is for gently making sense of your inner world, reconnecting with yourself, and finding steadiness where things may feel tangled. Over time, this process can support deeper clarity, connection, and a greater sense of ease within yourself.
Areas of Focus: Complex Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorders, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Treatment Modalities: Brainspotting, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Client Focus: Individual and couples therapy.

Nurse Psychotherapist
Signature Strength: Obsessed with how your brain keeps you safe
If you’re here, you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, or simply ready for something to change. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and learn how to support your own healing in a way that feels safe and empowering.
I’m a Nurse Psychotherapist, and my work is shaped by compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the complexities of being human. My path into mental health came through witnessing—both personally and professionally—how emotional struggles impact not only individuals, but families, relationships, and entire stories. Those experiences guide me in showing up with empathy and presence, no matter where you’re beginning.
Together, we’ll explore what you’re carrying—your thoughts, emotions, bodily responses, and the parts of you that have learned to protect and cope. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, blending CBT, DBT, Somatic-Based Practices, Brainspotting, and Parts Work. What this means for you is that therapy isn’t just about talking — it’s about supporting your whole nervous system and creating change that feels embodied, lasting, and real.
My hope is that our sessions become a place where you feel seen, supported, and safe to grow — where regulation and self-compassion can take root, and where you can slowly move toward a life that feels balanced, authentic, and truly yours.
Areas of Focus: Mood disorders, Nervous system dysregulation
Treatment Modalities: Brainspotting, TIST, IFS, informed Somatic Based Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.

Signature Strength: Helping You Get Curious About You
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or disconnected from themselves in ways they can’t quite name. I strive to create a warm, steady space where curiosity, compassion, and connection guide the process. Together, we slow things down, explore what lives beneath the surface, and begin to build a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher; an experience that continues to shape my work today. Teaching showed me how people learn, grow, and adapt in their own time, and it ultimately led me toward supporting individuals in a more personal and transformative way. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, honoring each client’s unique story, strengths, and resilience.
My work is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from CBT, DBT, somatic-based practices, Brainspotting, and Parts Work. With care and curiosity, we explore how early experiences and familiar patterns have shaped your nervous system and continue to influence how you move through the world. Therapy becomes not just a place for insight, but a space for reconnecting and creating change that feels embodied, meaningful, and enduring.
Area of Focus: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD
Treatment Modalities: Brainspotting, TIST, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Client Focus: Individual therapy for kids, teens and adults.

Office Administrator
Signature Strength: Chaos Coordinator
You may recognize me as the owner of Floating Therapy and I’ve been sharing a space with Rebecca and the CK Trauma team for the past five years. I’ve stepped into the role of Office Administrator to ensure that while our therapists focus on your healing, the path to get there is as smooth and supportive as possible.
My professional roots began in Healthcare, specializing in patient account administration. However, my passion for this work is deeply personal. I have been an advocate for therapy as a tool for personal growth, stress management and trauma processing, moving towards healing. I’ve sat on both sides of the desk and know that reaching out for help is often the hardest step. I’m here to make sure you don’t have to walk through that door alone. I understand the courage and vulnerability it takes to start this process. I don’t just manage client intakes; I hold space for the people behind them.
I look forward to connecting with you and helping you take your next step toward your healing journey.
