Integrated Post-Traumatic Stress & Emotion Dysregulation Program
This is a specialized, comprehensive treatment program designed for individuals experiencing the complex effects of trauma and emotional dysregulation. Our program recognizes that trauma is not just a psychological experience—it lives in the body, affects the nervous system, and impacts every aspect of daily life. Through an integrative approach, we help clients understand their trauma responses, develop regulation skills, and process traumatic experiences at their own pace.
This program is designed for individuals experiencing:
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/Complex PTSD
• Emotional dysregulation or difficulty managing intense emotions
• Trauma from adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)
• Dissociative symptoms or feeling disconnected from the body
• Chronic anxiety, panic, or hypervigilance related to trauma
• Co-occurring mood or addiction concerns alongside trauma
• Difficulty with relationships, trust, or boundaries due to trauma history
Four Phase Treatment Model
Phase 1: Individualized Assessment & Intake
Before beginning treatment, we conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your unique history, symptoms, and treatment needs. This assessment allows us to tailor the program specifically to your healing needs.
Phase 2: Psychoeducation & Stabilization
Somatic Awareness: Learning to notice and track sensations in your body without becoming overwhelmed
Vagus Nerve Regulation Tools: Practical techniques to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and shift out of fight/flight/freeze.
Grounding & Self-Soothing: Evidence-based strategies to stay present and manage overwhelming emotions
Building Window of Tolerance: Expanding your capacity to handle stress without becoming hyper-aroused or hypo-aroused
Resourcing: Identifying internal and external resources that support your sense of safety and stability
*Our Program offers the opportunity to integrate cold plunge, float therapy and sauna into your treatment during this phase.
Phase 3: Neuro-experiential & Somatic Psychotherapy
Trauma processing begins utilizing Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment techniques. These modalities allow you to heal without having to extensively talk about every detail, making them particularly effective for individuals who find traditional talk therapy retraumatizing or ineffective.
This phase also continues the use of Cold Plunging, Sauna and Float therapy (if desired).
Phase 4: Transition to Maintenance & Beyond
Ongoing assessment informs when this phase begins and what you will need to move into the maintenance phase towards termination.
